An American Werewolf in London (1981)
Front and end titles plus a variety of opticals such as day for night, mix sequences, speed-ups etc.
The full moon revealing behind the Statue of Eros in Piccadilly Circus was a sky replacement, the moon footage being supplied by Oxford Scientific Films.
With the production being shot on a Royal Wedding year, watch out for the producer's end card congratulating Lady Diana Spencer and HRH The Prince of Wales on the occasion of their marriage. There's also George Folsey Jnr.'s "All characters and events in this film are fictitious" card and the 'undead' joke which has been copied many times since.
